Shonnie McBride is the Director of Operations at Ascension Capital.

Shonnie began her career in financial services with AIG VALIC's North Houston Client Care Center in 1999, and she became an investment representative for AIG VALIC Financial Services. At Ascension, she is primarily responsible for managing client service in its many forms, and she also supports the firm's daily operations. Shonnie approaches client service with an understanding that every client’s needs and expectations are unique, which gives rise to a tailored approach.

In addition to financial services, Shonnie also has experience in executive administration, accounting, sales, and retail management.

Shonnie grew up in Spring, Texas. She attended the University of Houston as a Communications and Political Science major with a Concentration in Corporate Studies. She also has an Associate of Applied Science in Paralegal Studies from Bryant & Stratton College.
