Ruth Shoulders is the Director of Client Services for Ascension Capital.

Ruth started her career in oil & gas tax accounting, eventually shifting to the financial services industry. In her early career in financial services, she was primarily focused in the areas of estate planning and asset protection.

Ruth joined Ascension in April 2011, where she currently oversees all client administrative and operational needs. Whether it’s processing a check request, handling a 1099/tax request or verifying that required minimal distributions are met, Ruth ensures that client requests are addressed.

Ruth graduated from the University of St. Thomas, where she earned a Bachelor’s of Business Administration with a minor in economics.
